Tutorials...
I was just reading some platinum prenzky and it got me thinking on the idea of tutorials as a strategy for learning in classrooms. I got to thinking about making use of small groups of students within a classroom as a way of cementing a topic, idea or skill. As a number of small groups, after being given sufficient introduction to a skill or topic, students are required to be taught the topic by an individual in the group. This position within the group will resemble a facilitator, but in this position the student will take responsibility for the direction and usefullness of a discussion.
